OVERALL IDENTITY & COLLATERAL DESIGN

THE PRINCE’S FOUNDATION FOR CHILDREN AND THE ARTS

HRH The Prince of Wales established Children & the Arts to transform the lives of disadvantaged children throughout the UK by championing the power of arts. The charity promotes early engagement with the arts which has a positive impact on young people.

Studio EMMI has created the organisation’s identity and designed a number of its materials since it was founded, including its annual reports.

Children & the Arts forges long-term partnerships between arts organisations and schools, enabling children to visit their local cultural venue and work with professional artists over a sustained period. Studio EMMI designed the identities of each programme, often commissioning illustrators to bring the children’s experience to life. All the materials are produced with the environment in mind, reinforcing the message of hope for and investment in the future.

During the design process Emmi was flexible and understanding – especially as she was working with someone who was still learning the ropes!
