Designing a book is such an honor. As graphic designers, we
rarely get to create items that are meant to last for longer than
a 'season', or a specific event. With books, it all changes. People hold on to good books for a lifetime. They can take the prime spot on a shelf for years, and even get passed down in families. Hence why each book is designed with such care and time.
Emmi is a delight to work with. Always professional
and responsive, her designs are inventive, appropriate and engaging. Her work is unusual; rigourous but not cold, sophisticated and yet still accessible.
